Qualifications

I am a registered social worker holding a Masters Degree in Social Work from York University. In addition to this a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Neuroscience (University of Prince Edward Island/University of New Brunswick).

My approaches to healing are carefully customized to meet the nuanced and thoughtful care that is critical for your healing and restoration. It is my aspiration to support you to locate yourself in the chaos and suffering that can attach itself as you navigate life.

The balance I aspire to achieve is a combination of Internal Family Systems (L3 Certified IFS), Mindfulness (Thich Nhat Hanh Tradition), Antiopressive & Equity Practice (AOPE), Trauma Informed, Cognitive Neuroscience, and Psychology.

Some of the life experiences that I bring in addition to my professional credentials are: membership in the 2SLGBTQII+ community, being a former crown ward, a parent, a consumer survivor of the mental health system, and several others areas. I know it can be helpful to share intersections when seeking supports.
